Happy Birthday, Darcy! 9-27-2009
We started the day going to the store for balloons (15 for the site and 1 to let go), 15 roses, and a donut with a candle. It's our family tradition to wake birthday celebrants with a donut, candle, and a song, so we did it to you :) Before we left, we kissed a pink balloon and let it go to honor your home-going.
At 8 pm, we went to Chili's where your Ate Britt works and ate a ton of desserts. Then, at 9:52 pm, we gathered around the kitchen table and sang you a happy birthday like we did 15 times last year. Many loved ones did the same thing for you. You are so special, my little love.

Septermber 24, 2008 - Final Sonogram
Here you are just a few weeks before birth. If you aren't delivered before then, the doctors will induce mommy on Thursday, October 2. See you soon!

Wow, Darcy, how you've grown! What an awesome privilege to see God's handiwork. Your face is perfect, the cycsts in your brain have seem to disappear, your fingers move, and your organs seem to be intact. God is great! Thanks to everyone all over the world who have been praying for you. Could it be that God is building an audience to show us His power? As if He hasn't already! Christ admonished his disciples when He told them "Oh ye of little faith!."
Lord, please forgive our unbelief. You are the Great Physician. You created the universe and we will be glad to eat the crumbs from your table. We marvel at how your are putting little Darcy together. Thank you for allowing us to watch a miracle in the making!
Your Future House
This is going to be your first house, Darcy. We're moving here in three weeks (August 1). We're working from dusk till dawn, sometimes till 2 am packing and cleaning. It's amazing how much stuff accumulates in 10 years! We hate to move, but it will be better for you and us. It's large enough to accommodate all of us :) You will room with Mommy and Daddy at first. After that, we'll see.

When No Other Car Will Do
To get ready for Darcy, we sold all of Mom and Dad's toys and bough a large Van! One week later, the kids turned it into the Scooby Doo Mystery Van!
