About Us and This Website
We are the Ramoses from Magnolia, Texas. Dad is Jason, Mom is Tracy, and kids from oldest to youngest are Brittany (19), Isabella (14), Alexys (13), Mallorie (7), "Roman" Blake (4), Roman "Bryson" (2), and Darcy Anne who was born on September 27, 2008.
Darcy had Trisomy 18, also known as Edward's Syndrome. T18 is a genetic condition in which she has an extra 18th chromosome. Trisomy 18 babies typically do not make it to term. When they do, they pass soon after. Doctors term her condition as "incompatible with life."
The original intent of this web is to memorialize the life of Darcy from the time we found out about her on February 6, 2008. Darcy went to be with our Lord on October 11, 2008. We have come to realize that through this site, Darcy has and continues to help people value life.
If you are experiencing Trisomy 18 with your child, our prayers are with you. We feel your pain. God loves you and your child. We have never felt His love and presence more strongly till Darcy came. Stay strong and trust in Him and a peace that passes all understanding will befall you.
